第一次全方位學習日 2024-2025 The First Life-wide Learning Day 2024-2025
為增強學生的學習體驗並促進全人發展，我校於2024年12月2日舉辦了第一次全方位學習日（LWL Day）。是次活動安排了多樣化的教育活動，旨在拓闊學生的視野，滿足他們的不同需求。當天的活動涵蓋了各個年級，為學生們提供了豐富而有趣的學習機會。
學生的反饋顯示，大多數人都非常享受這些活動。我們期待著第二次全方位學習日，能為學生提供更多多樣化和豐富的體驗，進一步促進他們的全面教育。
To enhance students’ learning experiences and foster whole-person development, our school successfully launched its First Life-wide Learning Day (LWL Day) on 2nd December 2024. This initiative aims to broaden students' horizons through a variety of educational activities tailored to their needs. The day featured a variety of engaging activities across different forms:
Feedback from students indicates that the majority enjoyed the activities. The school is already looking forward to the Second LWL Day, with plans to introduce even more diverse and enriching activities to promote a well-rounded education.
聖言中學陸運會 2024-2025 Sing Yin Secondary School Sports Day 2024-2025
本年度陸運會已於2024年9月25日及30日假九龍仔運動場順利舉行。轉換到新的比賽場地，聖言仔又有新的成就突破。
陸運會第一天雖然發生了小插曲，天氣不穩，但四社運動健兒的士氣並沒有受挫。在備受觸目的社際接力賽中，4x100米賽事的甲、乙、丙組冠軍分別由黃、藍、綠社取得。而4x400米賽事中，甲、乙、丙組冠軍則分別由綠、黃、紅社奪得。
在緊張刺激的比賽期間，當然不少得四社連日來多番準備的啦啦隊表演助興。各社均派出實力相當宏厚的同學作舞蹈比拼，配上多首流行曲串燒，為運動員加油打氣。經過一眾老師及家長評審後，由綠社奪得啦啦隊冠軍。而社全場總冠軍亦同樣由綠社包攬，恭喜綠社。
聖言仔為陸運會拼上一百分的力量，最終決出個人全場總冠軍。分別為丙組1A黎安健、乙組為3E張永希、及甲組6A張煒謙同學，恭喜以上得獎者。
是次陸運會雖遇上阻滯，卻更展現出聖言仔毋懼風雨困阻，誓要勇闖巔峰的信念。恭喜所有得獎同學及社，亦感謝老師和工作人員為陸運會作出貢獻。期待同學來年能在體育方面突破界限，再創佳績！
This year’s sports day was held successfully on September 25th and 30th at Kowloon Tsai Sports Ground. Sing Yin Boys achieved breakthroughs with the transition of a new competition venue.
Although there were some inconveniences at first, such as bad weather, the morale of the athletes from the four houses remained high. In the highly anticipated 4x100 relay, the champions of Grade A, Grade B, and Grade C were won by Yellow House, Blue House, and Green House respectively. In the 4x400 relay event, the champions of Grade A, Grade B, and Grade C were won by Green House, Yellow House, and Blue House respectively.
During the exciting competitions, the cheerleading performances prepared by the four houses started to add to the fun. Each house sent teams of students to compete in dance competitions which are accompanied by a medley of pop songs to cheer for the athletes. After some careful consideration from parents and teachers, it was decided that Green House won the cheerleading competition. The overall championship was also won by Green House. Congratulations to Green House!
Everyone gave a lot of effort into the events, but the individual overall champions still have to be decided. Respectively, the C Grade champion was won by 1A Li Anjian, the B Grade champion was won by 3E Cheung Wing Hei and the A Grade champion was won by 6A Cheung Wai Him. Congratulations to the above winners!
Although this year’s Sports Day was met with obstacles, it reflected the spirit of determination and resilience. Congratulations to all of the winners, both houses and students. Thanks to the teachers and staff for their contributions to the Sports Day. We look forward to the students breaking boundaries in the Sports Day next year and achieving even greater results!
24/25粵港澳姊妹學校簽約儀式
東莞市翰林實驗學校創辦於2004年9月，是一所集小學、初中、高中、國際部為一體的寄宿制民辦學校。學校坐落於東莞市東江與環城路交會處，佔地面積16萬多平方米，建築面積16萬多平方米。現有227個教學班、9900餘名學生和1000餘名教職員工。學校為東莞市直屬學校，東莞市一級學校，東莞市第三批品牌學校。先後榮獲全國先進民辦學校、全國空軍招飛優秀生源基地學校等國家級榮譽稱號；廣東省心理健康教育特色學校、廣東省綠色學校等榮譽稱號。學校還是清華大學優秀生源基地學校、北京大學高水準運動員訓練基地。
學校硬體設備按省一級學校條件設置，佈局合理，教學區、生活區、運動區相對獨立。學校有籃球場20個、網球場10片、高爾夫果嶺1個、室內游泳館1座、擊劍館1個、排球場2個，羽毛球場14個，乒乓球台40張等。另有舞蹈室4間，鋼琴房80間。學校現代教育技術設施設備完善，全校建成了271個多媒體教學平臺，萬兆校園網、廣播網、電視網覆蓋了每間課室、功能室；學校擁有800多台教學用電腦，實現了學校管理和教育教學的數位化、資訊化、現代化。
學校在全國範圍內遴選優秀教師653名。其中，博士研究生1人，碩士研究生60人，本科學歷586人；特級教師2名，中級和高級職稱161人。全體教師教育經驗豐富，在教育教學和教研上屢創佳績。
學校以“以百年恒心，辦最好學校”為辦學宗旨，以“為每個學生終身發展奠基，培養具有民族精神和國際視野的社會棟樑”為辦學目標。
學校辦學特色鮮明，成果突出，在社會享有良好的知名度和美譽度。高中部近8年每年都有學生被清華、北大錄取或達到清華、北大錄取分數線；國際部八屆畢業生被世界排名前100大學錄取的比例高達83.2%，2021屆、2022屆GAC特優生協定班100%被全美或世界排名前100的大學錄取。同時，在各級各類的競賽活動中，翰林學子們也奮勇爭先，碩果累累。僅2022年，該校師生就在各類賽事和評比中取得132項榮譽，其中國家級榮譽1個，省級榮譽7個。
水運會 Swimming Gala
本年度聖言水運會已於10月15日在觀塘游泳池順利舉行。
四社的運動健兒在比賽場上各展所長，除了各項泳式比賽及師生接力等項目外，是日亦舉行了最受關注的社際接力賽。最終，甲組的社際接力冠軍由藍社奪得，乙組以及丙組的冠軍則同時由綠社奪得。在社際接力賽進行得如火如荼時，看台上四社的啦啦隊亦不忘為自己所屬的社打氣。經過一眾老師評審後，綠社取得啦啦隊冠軍的寶座。至於甲組的個人全場總冠軍則由6C 梁朗天及5B 李淳銘兩位藍社同學同時奪得，而乙、丙組的個人全場總冠軍則分別由綠社同學3B 霍霜雩及藍社同學2B 溫子朗奪得。而全場總冠軍則由綠社奪得，眾望所歸。
是次水運會展現了聖言仔不屈不撓、勇於拼搏的體育精神，亦可見各社的師兄師弟上下一心。恭喜所有得獎同學及社，亦感謝老師和工作人員為水運會作出莫大貢獻。期待同學明年能於水運會上再次揮灑熱血，勇奪佳績！
The Sing Yin Swimming Gala of this year was successfully held on October 15th at the Kwun Tong Swimming Pool.
The athletes of the four houses showcased their best talents in numerous competitions. Apart from the various swimming races and teacher-student relays, the widely anticipated inter-house relays were also held during the day. In the end, Blue House came first in the A-Grade inter-house relay race, along with Green House taking the champion in the B-Grade and C-Grade races. As the inter-house relay race was heating up, the cheerleading teams of the four houses also cheered passionately for their respective house on the grandstand. After the teachers' evaluation, Green House secured the championship in the cheerleading competition. As for the individual overall champions in the A-Grade, they were jointly taken by 6C Leung Long Tin and 5B Lee Shun Ming from Blue House. The B-Grade and C-Grade individual overall champions were taken by 3B Fok Sheung Ue from Green House and 2B Wan Tsz Long from Blue House, respectively. As anticipated, the overall champion of this event was secured by Green House.
This Swimming Gala demonstrated the tenacious and unwavering sportsmanship of Sing Yin students. It also showcased the unity between the students of each house. We would like to congratulate all award-winning students and houses, and also thank for the tremendous contributions made by the teachers and staffs in the Swimming Gala. We are looking forward to seeing students showcase their passion and achieve good results again at next year's Swimming Gala!
人工智能與機械人的未來與發展講座 The Future and Development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics
Our school was recently privileged to host a fascinating talk, "The Future and Development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics" delivered by the esteemed Prof Andrew POON, the Department Head of Electronic and Computer Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Prof Poon, a renowned expert in the field, provided our students with a captivating glimpse into the exciting world of AI and robotics and how these technologies are shaping our future.
During the talk, Prof Poon not only shared his insights into the latest advancements but also brought along a tangible example of electronic technology: a wafer and several chips. By passing these items around the classroom, he allowed our students to physically examine the components that form the foundation of our modern world.
Prof Poon emphasized the crucial role of electronic engineering in the development of AI and robotics, from the underlying hardware and software to the algorithms that power these technologies. He highlighted the diverse applications of AI and robotics in fields such as healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, and entertainment, inspiring our students to explore the endless possibilities of these dynamic fields.
We are grateful to Prof Poon for sharing his expertise and passion for AI, robotics, and electronics with our school community. His talk has undoubtedly sparked interest and enthusiasm among our students, inspiring them to explore the exciting possibilities that these technologies offer.
