由於新型冠狀病毒疫情關係，本年度中一面試日將會取消。
正取學生家長將於2021年3月31日收到書面及電話通知其子弟已獲本校納入自行分配學生正取名單。
In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, F.1 Interview Day will be cancelled this year.
Parents of successful applicants will be notified of their children’s inclusion in the Successful Lists for Discretionary Places by letter and phone on 31 March 2021.
根據教育局所訂「中學學位分配辦法」，本校將預留51個中一學位作自行分配。
Under the “Secondary School Places Allocation System” stipulated by the Education Bureau, our school will reserve 51 F1 places as discretionary places for the admission of students.
中一自行分配學位申請
Application for F1 Discretionary Places
收生及評選準則根據申請人的學業成績、操行、課外活動及服務、校內校外獎項、其他 （宗教、校友/教職員子弟、校內評語、居住地區、特殊需要等等）。
入學表格可從2020年12月7日起到本校索取，或在此下載。請將申請表及附件在2021年1月4日至1月18日（包括首尾兩日）於辦公時間內（星期一至五上午8時30分至下午5時）及（星期六上午9時30分至中午12時）直接交回本校(九龍新清水灣道38號)。
鑑於2019冠狀病毒疫情，教育局特別容許本年度的自行分配學位可透過郵遞申請，家長如有需要及衡量相關風險後，可於上述日期透過郵寄方式遞交申請表及附件（截止日期以郵戳日期為準）。
Admission and selection criteria are applicants’ academic standards, conduct, extra-curricular activities/service, awards both inside and outside school, and others (religion, connection with school, primary school’s comments, place of residence and special needs).
Application forms can be obtained from the school office or downloaded here from 7th December 2020 onwards. Please send your application by hand to Sing Yin Secondary School (38 New Clear Water Bay Road, Kowloon) during office hours (8.30 a.m. – 5.00 p.m., Monday – Friday) and (9.30 a.m. – 12 nn, Saturday) from 4th January to 18th January 2021, both dates inclusive.
In view of the COVID-19 epidemic, the EDB has specially allowed submission of DP applications by post for this SSPA cycle. Parents could consider the needs and associated risks, and arrange to submit the Application Forms and other documents required by post (the postmark date should not be later than the prescribed deadline).
