「向國旗敬禮」大中小學師生訪京活動 "Salute to the National Flag" Hong Kong and Macao Youth Flag-Raising Teams' Beijing Visit

2026年9月18日至22日，我校10位升旗隊隊員與1200名港澳的大中小學師生參加了由教育局主辦的「向國旗敬禮」訪京活動。我們一行人乘搭高鐵前往祖國首都北京，期間登上天安門觀禮台觀看升旗儀式、參觀人民大會堂、故宮、中國國家博物館、科技館，以及探訪中國人民解放軍儀仗司禮大隊基地等。行程重點就是9月21日上午，由中共中央政治局常委、國務院副總理丁薛祥在人民大會堂接見了訪京團團員，並轉達了國家主席習近平對全體團員的親切問候與期許。

隊員們對是次活動感受甚深，副隊長方家浩﹕「這次觀看天安門升旗禮的經歷，讓我震撼萬分。我印象最深刻的時刻是儀仗隊發號「正步走」的一瞬間，方隊裡所有隊員整齊劃一的踢出響亮的步伐，聲音之大令我們不禁發出感歎。這無疑是一次令人興奮、震撼和自豪的經歷，這也不只是一個儀式，更是一個能讓我們從中提升民族意識，增強國家歸屬感的活動。」

From September 18 to 22, 2026, 10 members of our school's flag-raising team, alongside 1,200 teachers and students from primary, secondary, and university institutions across Hong Kong and Macao, participated in the ""Salute to the National Flag"" Beijing study tour organized by the Education Bureau. Our delegation traveled by high-speed rail to Beijing, the capital of our motherland. During the trip, we watched the flag-raising ceremony from the Tiananmen viewing stand and visited the Great Hall of the People, the Palace Museum, the National Museum of China, the China Science and Technology Museum, and the base of the PLA Honor Guard and Ceremonial Troop.

The highlight of the itinerary took place on the morning of September 21, when Ding Xuexiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, received the delegation at the Great Hall of the People, conveying the warm greetings and expectations of President Xi Jinping to all members.

Our team members were deeply moved by this experience. Vice Team Captain Fong Ka Ho shared: ""Watching the flag-raising ceremony at Tiananmen Square was profoundly moving. The moment that left the deepest impression on me was when the honor guard commander issued the command, 'March!' (Zheng Bu Zou). Every member of the formation kicked forward in perfect unison, making a resounding sound that left us all in awe. It was undoubtedly an exciting, thrilling, and proud experience. This was far more than just a ceremony—it was a meaningful journey that deepened our national identity and strengthened our sense of belonging to our country.""
